Ornament is a universal artistic language of architectural forms. Since ancient times, the
ornament, its realization in stone, Dutch tiles, majolica, indicates the tectonics of the building,
its voice sounds in Egyptian and Greek columns, in the openwork channelures of the rened
Gothic temples, the caissons of the domes and arches of the Renaissance. In the baroque
decoration of palace facades, the architectural ornament indicates the place in social hierarchy,
religious and national culture.
Today the architecture is mute and its quiet voice may be heard only in the rhythms of window
perforations, the contrasts of glass and concrete, and the modest plastic of modern volumes of
buildings. In the presented works, there was made an attempt to return the rich plastic
language of the ornament, the more so because the tent material and the form of the structures
give the necessary palette to talk with the viewer so that the words of the architectural language
make a song and this melody played on the strings of the stretched tent forms can be heard.
2019
The project included the development of a single corporate style of the attraction – the
entry node, pavilions decorative design, themed souvenirs and toys, light children's
clothing and accessories, and design of disposable tableware for “Deinonychus” summer
cafe.
